Set Up

Put 1 line at X, 1 line on the wing, and 1 line on the high crease area. The wing line will start with the ball, and carry top side. The crease plaster will fill the space the ball carrier was just in (how you would in a 2-player game).. The ball carrier will throwback to teammate, who will then move the ball to X teammate. That player will make 1 move with the ball, and then attack the 5×5 for a finish up the hash

Coaching Points & Principles

  • Spacing – we are working on our team spacing here, when we are able to fill vacated space, we can get defense to rotate against a zone, power play, or all even situations like 2 player games
  • Finishing up the Hash – we want to get our hips and shoulders both firing back to the goal. If you isolate just your shoulders, there won’t be a lot of power on the shot
