Set Up
There various schools of though here, but in general this is a strategy we have seen work very well.
Put your LSM in their normal spot on the defensive wing, but also use your defensive middle to be on the furthest spot on the defensive side as well.
when a FOGO wins clean and gets a fast break, but charging in from the DM, we naturally take away the fast break gap they are trying to get to and draw that slide from the point defender. You need a speedy person to make this work, but its a great way to neutralize a fast break
If you want to put your best LSM and chase from the near side, you can do that as well, but if the FO has a step, we are pushing them into that gap which will draw a slide and create a defensive rotation
