Summary

This variation works on eye–hand coordination, steps, and body control with two hands on the ball

Set Up

goalie stands without a stick, starting in ready position. The coach bounces balls left and right, and the goalie must step, square up, and get two hands underneath to catch the ball cleanly. Progress the tosses from high bounces, to mid/hip, down to low. Emphasis is on quick feet, balanced positioning, and strong two-handed control on the catch.
