Katy Szymanski enters her 13th season as head coach of Trinity College women’s lacrosse, leading the Bantams to consistent postseason success in the nation’s toughest Division III conference. Since taking over in 2014, she has guided Trinity to six consecutive NCAA Final Fours (2012–2017), including the program’s first national championship in 2012, and multiple deep NCAA Tournament runs, highlighted by a 21–2 record and national runner-up finish in her first season as head coach. A former IWLCA National Assistant Coach of the Year and Division III Regional Coach of the Year, Szymanski has mentored numerous All-Americans, national award winners, and All-Academic honorees while maintaining Trinity’s standard of excellence in the NESCAC and on the national stage.

Beyond coaching, she contributes to the college through department committees and community outreach, including organizing a fall clinic for Hartford youth.
