Set Up
Split the scoring area in half up the middle of the field using cones. A a cone about 5 yards away on each side, roughly 10-12 yards away from goal. Players will start on the high wing with ball, and will sleep to the middle. They must get down hill around their cone, and finish driving to cage, staying on their side of the field
Coaching Points & Principles
- Get over the cone! Use your back leg to really drive yourself back to the cage
- Get your hips and shoulders driving through and finishing
- Stay on your side, as we want to use this drill to get players not to fade/drift while they shoot on the run
