Summary

The 1-3-2 offense is a very traditional set for youth, high school, and college programs. It simplifies the spacing and principles for your players

Note: Any set that you play in, we want too limit the rigidness of it. Players should be able to read and play off each other, and exploiting space to get the best shot possible.

Set Up

We have an attack player at X, 2 Attackers on each low Goal Line Extended, a midfielder on the crease, and 2 midfielders on the high center wing area.

  • We want to maintain the 2 triangles between the attack and midfield
  • We always need a look and a follow teammate
  • The crease player is the mirror to the dodger
    • Dodge the alley, crease floats to backside space
    • Dodge the middle, create floats to nearside space
