A shooting drill that forces the shooter to make a decision with their shot
Set Up
Put a goalie in cage, 2 Line up top, and place balls in both. Start with a pass across, and then and alley dodge. The shooter must target with their shot nearside hip or far side low
Coaching Points & Principles
- Shooting on the run – keep the feet moving!
- Try to stay overhand for maximum angle
- Angle of dodge – If running away from cage, need to step back towards it
