A shooting drill that works on Man Up ball movement and finishing design by Coach Erik Adamson
Set Up
Split the field in half, and put 4 players on each side in respected locations shown on diagram. Balls start at top with a pass down to crease who will make a “wall pass” (catch on crease and pass back out to perimeter). They will pass to the wing, who passes down to low corner, who feeds the crease player cutting for an inside catch and finish. Players move to the space they passed the ball too, and shooter leaves drill, add a new player up top. Both sides go at the same time
Coaching Points & Principles
- Quick ball movement, get in and out of stick quickly
- Crease always move to the ball, dont stand still
- Finishing inside, use pump fakes for deception
